For that purpose they will have to complete a specific address registration form. Bulgarian Currency RegulationsForeigners may export and import Bulgarian banknotes and coins in circulation to the amount of up to 10 000 leva or 5 000 euro, and all sums exceeding this amount may be imported and exported only with a permit by the Bulgarian National Bank, valid for a period of up to 90 days of its issuance date. In addition, the foreign citizens could export convertible or hard currency in amounts that do not exceed the amount of the foreign currency, that they had originally imported and declared, and they can import unlimited amounts of foreign currency, which should as a rule be declared, too.
